For those of you who are applying online, we have put together some tips on how to complete the application form.
ABB offers a general eLearning tool (“Applying for jobs @ABB”) which you may find by
clicking here! This tool will teach you how to apply for jobs online at ABB.
1. Make sure that you invest enough time for a complete application. (requires approx. 30 Minutes). Try to give a detailed but precise overview.
2. Please use the section ‘work experience’ to fill in your experience e.g. from internships.
3. Although this is a standard form – you may use the free text fields (e.g. additional information) to state your reasons why you are a good candidate for the program.
4. International students have to give additional details.
a. Be clear about the country of application if you want to apply in a country other than your present residence
Example:
You are a Chinese student in Switzerland who wants to apply in China. In the section personal information, fill the field ‘city’ as follows:
< ZIP Code, CITY>, <Switzerland>
In the field ‘country’ choose <CHINA>
b. Define the timeframe
Please fill general details on your international education in the section ‘additional information’, e.g. when you return to your home country.
