ABB Totalflow has tapped over 25 years of serial data and I/O experience to create a new wireless product family. The wireless host connects to either a WellTell-IO or WellTell-IS and uses a communication port in the XFC or XRC. Wireless presents many advantages such as no trenching cost, no permits, and less hassle. There is a reduced environmental impact and fast repair. Wireless is low-powered and has secure, encrypted data with built-in error detection.
